Unexpected

 Boyfriend jeans:Old Navy (On Sale!) lusting after This one too| Tank: Wet Seal| Pumps:Boutique 9 (On Sale) Bag:Michael, Michael Kors| Accessories:TJMaxx

I've always been a skinny jeans kinda gal, but I've also been wanting to get pair of boyfriend jeans. This weekend, I found two awesome pairs of bf jeans at Old Navy. One has more of a snug fit whereas the one I am wearing in the picture is a tad bit bigger (so big, I can put on and take off without unzipping),  yet really comfortable. When I visited my mom for mother's day this past weekend, her and my brother asked why I was wearing baggy jeans.  To be honest, I've always been drawn to fitted clothing, and have been trying to get out of my safe area. ..And,  that's the thing about personal style; freedom to express yourself and if you get out of your safe area, you just might surprise yourself with what you find.

Strap It Real Good

After what seemed like forever, the weather is finally starting to warm up and that means I show my toes now without worrying about being cold. I don't know if you've seen the shoe rack I put together on my Instagram, but I realized that I have a lot of pumps and only two sandals both of which are from Zara.  While my love for pumps is inevitable, I've got my eyes on some cute sandals, which I will be paring with my maxi/midi skirts and dresses all summer long! Are you more of a T-strap sandals gal or do you gravitate towards pumps like I do?

Happy Monday! Hope your weekend was fabulous! I found this lace skirt tucked away in  the back of my closet and it dawned on me that I haven't yet put my winter clothes away and brought out my spring clothes.

Honestly, we got a little bit of snow in May but it's looking like spring is here to stay. Has everyone done their spring cleaning or am I the last one?

I wasn't always a fan of jewelry. I remember in High School and my early college days, my mom would get on my case for not wearing earrings and jewelry. Now, I can't seem to get enough of jewelry especially statement necklaces. I usually get my jewelry from TJMaxx as they have super affordable jewelry but lately I've been eyeing these pieces as well.
